Hi, I’m Ally. I’m a wife, a mom and a photographer. My days are busy and fueled by coffee – it’s how I keep up with my two busy little boys. I have a large extended family who I love to be with. I cook, I bake, I plan elaborately themed birthday parties for my kids, and I feel like there are never enough hours of sunshine in a day. But in between all the craziness exists the little things that make us a family – our Sunday dinners each week with my grandparents, our pancake breakfasts, my little guy running down the street to the mailbox daily, and my oldest leaving origami star wars characters all over my house. It’s these things that I sometimes overlook – but also the things that I will cherish in my memory as my kids grow up. So many days go by that I feel guilty about not playing with my children more, or having to work too much, or telling them to wait, again. But then they will give me a look, or say a few sweet words, and it fills me with joy. They embrace all those little in between moments. These moments now fill up my heart. With my camera I capture these moments – snippets of our life together. This is our story. I’m a wife, a mom, a photographer, a story teller.
Sidenote: my previous photography business name until the end of 2015 was Squishy Prints Photography. I outgrew the cute name. But I'm still the same person behind the lens!
